Tackle it Tuesday

I am joining up with 5MinutesforMom again today for Tackle it Tuesday.

So in keeping with my Tackle it November theme. I have decided to train for a 1/2 Marathon with my sister. It is a little crazy I KNOW!! But one of the things I really want to work on is my fitness and health and I have wanted to run a marathon for a very long time I just haven't had anyone pushing me or encouraging me to do it. I am not up to the whole marathon so I am going to do the 1/2!! I am using this site to help me train.

I LOVE this idea! I can't join in today- well, maybe I can this afternoon- but will start next week.

The Hubs took some time off work and will be home Wed., Thurs. and Fri. in addition to the weekend. Our goal is to tackle and eliminate all the clutter in the basement! Maybe I SHOULD just kick back today since I'll be tackling stuff all weekend.

And good for you on the 1/2 marathon training. They say people who have physical fitness goals in addition to weight loss goals (not sure if YOU need to lose weight but I do) are more likely to keep going. I'm thinking about training for the Tour de Cure 100 mile bike ride next summer. Biking I can do, running? No way! Keep going! You're doing great!

Hmmm.... You post about training for the 1/2 marathon (way to go!), and then one of your suggested posts is a picture of a pile of delicious-looking nachos!!!

Makes me hungry for nachos, not eager to work out :)

Will be eager to hear about your progress, though. I AM impressed with your plans!!!

This is a great goal, I normally run 5k's maybe I will set my goal for a 10k before tackling a 1/2 marathon. =)
