"not me" Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I did not just leave these lawn chairs and other unknown objects outside while the snow was falling, falling, falling. No not me I am certainly more responsible than that. I would never leave things outside during the winter (ie kiddie swimming pools etc) to be snowed on and ruined. I am much more budget conscious than that.
I would also never photograph such things just to participate in "not me" Monday. That would be completely ridiculous and irresponsible. No "not me"!!!

Have a great Monday!!

HaHa! Do me a favor and please keep the snow there. I don't want it here where I live. I'm totally not looking forward to cold weather.

Your not me Monday posts are so funny. I would never to this either, I don't have to buy new summer toys every year because all of ours get ruined in the snow, no, not me!

Love it! My backyard looks the same. I guess we'll see in May what toys got left out since the kids didn't listen and pick them up first. Half of our yard chairs like that died this last year because they got so brittle. Maybe next year I'll get new patio furniture that I will care about taking out of the snow!
This Ozarks farm chick is so not ready for snow. Nope, not a winter person.

Ya'll have a wonderfully blessed day from the hills and hollers of Missouri.

I may or may not have a few things like skateboards and patio sets and such in my backyard awaiting our third round of snow (and melt), and I may or may not have/had left them there still.

I know I am not telling if I did or didn't...sssshhhhh

How did your event go. Hope all is well. Hey, once you get your backyard cleaned up can you come clean my flower pots on my deck up. The dog has knocked them over and dirt everywhere.

Thanks for the new blog info --- I'm also an RN! What is your specialty? I was working Rehab before my son was born -- now I'm taking a hiatus for a while......

Not Me Monday's are the best aren't they? There's something so freeing about them. Although I don't know that it's a good thing that when I hit my poor child's head on the top of her crib the first thing that pops into my mind is "Hey that would be perfect for Not Me!" LOL!!!!!!!!

How to get Urine/Sweat stains out of your Mattress

If you have kids you have pee stains I know it.  If you don't lucky you or you are a liar and in denial.  I have pee stains on more than one mattress.  I also have sweat stains on pillows because well I sweat a.lot .  It's a gift I know. I digress. Anyway I have tried many different ways to get urine/pee out of mattresses and I have been very unsuccessful so I did a google search and what do you know?  Another mom had pee stains too.  So I borrowed her recipe and it totally worked so I am sharing it with you. All you need are these few house-hold ingredients and a spray bottle.  I bought a really expensive one (NOT) I used one I had for my kids hair.  It worked great. You will need: 3 Tablespoons Baking Soda 8 ounces Hydrogen peroxide 1 drop dish soap Mix together well and use right away. My mom discovered that if it is not mixed well the baking soda will clog the sprayer.  You also can't store this apparently it doesn't last in the bottle and it is no longe

Master Bedroom Makeover Board and Batten

I highly recommend a few items although you don't HAVE to have them it just makes this project go so much faster.  I bought a pancake compressor with three nail guns included saved me on this project and a miter saw.  I bought both from Home Depot and they didn't pay me to say that it is just where I happen to shop.  I actually had this all measured out and went to Home Depot and they cut the mdf primed boards for me.  However I later purchased the miter saw and was then able to cut things right here at my house.  The nail gun I used is a 16 gauge gun that can shoot nails up to 3 inches.  I used a 2.5 inch nail to cover the thickness of the board and wall. Ok so I recommend deciding how you want your boards spaced first and measure and mark on the wall where you want them.  I tried to do every 16 inches because that is how far apart my studs were but then I realized my wall wasn't an even length and so I have some that look a little off on the ends.  Lesson learned
