What is your mom super power???

I was reading Holly's blog (one of the founders of The BlogFrog) and I was inspired by her post about mom super powers. I was thinking really hard to try and come up with my own "super power" and I realized that I didn't think I had one. That made me kind of sad so I have redeemed myself and dubbed myself "Mrs. Multi-tasker"!
The powers included here are many I can dry teary eyes while changing a messy diaper and make sure that dinner doesn't burn on the stove. That is just one example of multitasking that goes on around here.

Please leave a comment and let me know what your super power is or what your super hero name would be. Or just do a post of your own (but be sure to leave me a comment so I can read it!)

And here's to all of us mom's who don't appreciate ourselves and all we really do!

Oh I wish I could multi-task... I would love that super power! I would definitely have to say that I am more of a super villain than a super hero... my power would probably be something like being able to blow up at the tip of a hat or having laser eyes that burn right through you. My poor kids.

Yeah for the Super-Multitasker! The guys don't appreciate it until they try to do it! I think this is a fabulous super power! I can multitask very well at work.....I will let you know if those skills transfer to the mommy world in the future......

You've really got me thinking! Here's a good one...
Call me Super "Call Your Bluff" Momma
I've got 4 kids between the ages of 2 and 17. I've grown really astute to seeing through any lies they might tell. Whether it's "who made this mess?" or "how late did you stay up on the phone last night?" I can see right through them!

Amen to that Brandie! I read Holly's post too and never did settle on a super power of my own. If I had to choose one, I think it would also be Super-Multitasker! However, I think sometimes for me and probably most moms it becomes Super-MultiOverTasker. Which leads to Super-Sleepy. ;-)

So glad to be introduced to you through the BlogFrog Community Leaders!

I am so impressed - the multi-tasking superpower is the BEST! I have some power there, but the force is weak :). Oh - being able to call a bluff is a fantastic one, too. Thanks for linking to my blog and running with the idea for another post - I love it! I love hearing what other moms are really good at. I know one mom that can get all seven of her children somewhere on time, every time. That is a power far beyond my reach.

How to get Urine/Sweat stains out of your Mattress

If you have kids you have pee stains I know it.  If you don't lucky you or you are a liar and in denial.  I have pee stains on more than one mattress.  I also have sweat stains on pillows because well I sweat a.lot .  It's a gift I know. I digress. Anyway I have tried many different ways to get urine/pee out of mattresses and I have been very unsuccessful so I did a google search and what do you know?  Another mom had pee stains too.  So I borrowed her recipe and it totally worked so I am sharing it with you. All you need are these few house-hold ingredients and a spray bottle.  I bought a really expensive one (NOT) I used one I had for my kids hair.  It worked great. You will need: 3 Tablespoons Baking Soda 8 ounces Hydrogen peroxide 1 drop dish soap Mix together well and use right away. My mom discovered that if it is not mixed well the baking soda will clog the sprayer.  You also can't store this apparently it doesn't last in the bottle and it is no longe

Master Bedroom Makeover Board and Batten

I highly recommend a few items although you don't HAVE to have them it just makes this project go so much faster.  I bought a pancake compressor with three nail guns included saved me on this project and a miter saw.  I bought both from Home Depot and they didn't pay me to say that it is just where I happen to shop.  I actually had this all measured out and went to Home Depot and they cut the mdf primed boards for me.  However I later purchased the miter saw and was then able to cut things right here at my house.  The nail gun I used is a 16 gauge gun that can shoot nails up to 3 inches.  I used a 2.5 inch nail to cover the thickness of the board and wall. Ok so I recommend deciding how you want your boards spaced first and measure and mark on the wall where you want them.  I tried to do every 16 inches because that is how far apart my studs were but then I realized my wall wasn't an even length and so I have some that look a little off on the ends.  Lesson learned
